Here at SHIFT, our mission is to change the culture of substance use both on and off campus.
This culture includes the attitudes, thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and
norms that influence substance use. We recognize that substance use is a spectrum –
whether you choose not to use, you’re using in moderation, or you're looking for ways to cut
back, our goal is to create an environment where you feel supported.
After the past year, we know the need for support is greater than ever. Part of shifting the
culture of substance use on campus is making sure that you feel connected to the community , have the tools to make mindful
decisions about use, and
can recognize the strengths and support you can lean into as you
navigate coming
back to campus.
