Counselors in Academic Residence (CARE)
Provides access to mental health support for students who are struggling emotionally and/or academically.
Hears students’ and staff’s concerns in a safe setting about life at the university and confidentially discuss interpersonal difficulties, university policies, university bureaucracy, and conflict resolution techniques.
Helps students and their families during difficult or emergency situations. Assistance includes outreach, advocacy, intervention, support, and referrals to relevant campus and community resources.
